MPE&VCA organised a course on “Introduction to Valuation in Myanmar” that discussed different kinds of approaches used in valuing a businesses in Myanmar.
Dev Singhvi, Associate Director of Deals Advisory at PwC Myanmar gave the lecture and the course was hosted by PwC Myanmar.
Highlights included content on typical valuation multiples, and the specific challenges evident in Myanmar when valuing a business.
Up to 25 attendees from our member organisations, from analysts to finance managers and directors, got to better understand the bigger picture of valuation approaches and looked into some Myanmar-based case studies.
