Unlocking the Myanmar Consumer Market Beyond Borders

The Myanmar consumer market in neighbouring Thailand has grown exponentially in recent years, and many businesses have successfully capitalised on this expanding market, showing every sign of maintaining its growth momentum.

Join the conversation with a selection of leading businesses operating in Thailand that are successfully serving the growing community of Myanmar consumers. Hear directly from these business leaders as they share their journeys — from market-entry decisions and day-to-day operations to fundraising and scaling — along with candid insights into the most pressing challenges they face.

As more Myanmar nationals have sought greener pastures in search of new experiences and opportunities, the diaspora consumer market represents a significant opportunity with room for expansion for businesses to capture the growing market. For Myanmar-focused entrepreneurs and investors alike, engaging with this cross-border consumer base offers a valuable pathway to diversify revenue, strengthen resilience, and scale beyond domestic constraints.
